The Third best shot of my life...

Moffet Field, Hole 8. Par 4. I hooked my drive to about 120 yards from the green on the far side of the T-box of Hole 9. I was behind a tree, couldn't see the green. The ball was up against a tree and I could see the roots of the tree are next to my ball.

I took a 7 iron, and I knew I had to hook the ball around the tree and hope and pray it's somewhere near the green or in the fairway. Worst case would be the bunker, right???

I hit the shot on the Green about 18 ft from the hole...

That's got to be the third best shot of my life...

The first and second best shots of my life were hole-in-one's! :-)

Only 2 over in the front and 10 over in the back! Ouch! It was windy and I was doing really well. Easy Drives in the fairways, and nice approach shots to the greens!

Darn it! I was so close to breaking 80 Today!

Most Expensive 9 holes of golf !!!

So I was really getting itchy to play golf, on a rainy day, that's a bad idea...on a windy day in Livermore, Poppy Hills GC, it's even worse than a bad idea...Let me explain...

So I'm playing 2 balls on the Merlot course, with 40 mph winds, I'm losing on average 2 balls per hole...Needless to say, after 9 holes, and about 15 balls later, I was done! REALLY!

Total cost : $46 dollars, let's just say a box of balls $20, plus gas, and frustration! I would say at least $75 bucks for 9 holes!

I was cold, hungry, and tired...

I have to admit, it was a bad idea... :-( I never thought I would say that about playing golf...

I drove a Par 4!!!

Ridgemark Golf Course, Diablo Course. Hole 13, Par 4, 267 Uphill. I drove the green with my Titlest 9 degree, driver. I had 6-7 feet for eagle, but didn't make it. Birdie no less.

Shot 8 over in the front and 5 over in the back. Considering the back is harder (35 par vs. 37 for the front). It wasn't a bad day...

First Korean Figure Skater to win GOLD!!!

What can you say about Kim Yuna???!!!

Her heart, innocence, and skating a perfect program! It was such a joy to watch and seeing her win the Gold!

I was never so proud to see her stand on the podium and when I saw the Korean flag to up and watching Yuna brought a tear to my eye!

And also the Canadian skater, Joannie Rochette! What a story! Her mom passes away and she skates her heart out to win an Olympic medal! Wow! Wow!

What a long day!...

Played East Valley GC in Beaumont, The Legends Course. Dinner with Mt. View Church gang replanted to Loma Linda! Richard Yai, Chris Jeon, Brian Lee, Justin Kim, David, Jessica Youk, and Gracee, Kisoo, Harry, James and Fiance! It was just like church...NOT!

Then it was off to Katrina's Basketball game...
Let's see, they got slammed, I saw a banner in the gym with Damian and Katrina's name on them...forever in history of Loma Linda Academy...Haha....

...then trying to drive home at 10pm...not such a good idea.

I think after 2100 miles from Texas, Tucson, San Diego, to Loma Linda, started to wear on me...
I got 1/2 home and had to call it a night and slept in the truck...but the good news is...

I made it to church for the first time in over a year!
