What would it be like to play a golf course where your group is the only group on the course?

Where the t-boxes are like greens, there are no marks on the greens, they putt like you're putting on glass...they bring you caviar and drink to the t-box at the turn, and you finish it with Kobe steaks and 20+ year old scotch lunch!

(1) Survived another year at CB !

(2) Talked my way onto free golf at Palo Alto CC, Los Altos CC, Silver Creek CC, Wente Vinyards! Played Almaden CC, Stanford Golf Club, and by year end, I will have played AIM aka Fry's Golf Club, and Peninsula Golf Club...

Played Tubac aka as the TIN CUP course, my favorite - Cordevalle - which I nicknamed the inland Pebble Beach...

(3) Met 2 LPGA golfers ! or rather they got to meet me!

(4) Drove from TX to SD to SJ !

(5) Chris Issak concert...

(6) Broke 80 twice, once on a course I played for the first time.

(7) Got a sandy birdie!

(8) Wine Tour in Sonoma!

(9) Staying up all night and watching World Cup and golfing Cordevalle!

Game 5 of the NLCS and I thought Giants were going to clinch it! Missed opportunity. It was a good game for Giants, great game for Philly fans...

Next one...Now I need to figure out how to get tickets for the World Series...

2 years ago, I was trying to meet Kim Welch after she won Big Break!!! and today, I ran into her at Corde Valle.

I went up and asked, "Excuse me, but are you Kim Welch?" She was so impressed?

Made my day! Made her day too!

Today, Golf at Pasadero in Monterey....

Good day...shot 86 from the blues. Started on the 10th hole...5 over on the back nine and 10 over on the front...had some bad holes on the front nine...

Almaden Golf and Country Club

First time playing, Shot 85 from the Blue T's. 7 over on the front and 6 over on the back. Not bad. Made 2 birdies. One on the Par 3, I think it was the 13th, long put from 20-25 ft, and the second on the 17th off the green and made a 30 ft putt!!!

Not an easy course! Short par 4's but you have to be straight and accurate off the T's! Good Day!

Los Altos CC - 2nd Place Best Ball

Shot an 88 with a 14 handicap. 130 slope. Mike shot a 84. Net score was 61 and we came in second. The first place shot a 55 ! Really??? That's 16 birdies? I don't believe it!

Silver Creek Country Club...One of my favorite holes of all golf is the #9 hole! Elevated T-box and a 100 ft drop, view of the East Foothills of San Jose just makes this one of the most beautiful holes.

I drove my T shot to the left side about 150 yards out. Hit my second shot to the bunker on the right front.

Then "A Miracle" Sand Shot!!! Out of the bunker, and rolled into the hole for A BIRDIE!!!

Finally broke 90 at Corde Valle. Shot 8 over on the front but only 5 over in the back to shoot an 85. Personal best for me.... It's not really good bye but see you later....
